The Lavoy restaurant is reported to serve the best curries on Lipe. Take your pick from, Penang, Red, Green, or Masaman, or choose one of the other delicious Thai dishes. Tables and chairs are out on the beach, allowing customers to enjoy their meals and drinks close to the sea. In the evenings the restaurant operates a seafood BBQ. In high season the Lavoy gets packed, so arrive early to avoid waiting for a table. The adjoining Mellow Mango bar plays easy listening jazz and lounge music, and the owner has his own brand of fire dancing which he periodically entertains his customers with throughout the evenings and nights.
