Koh Lipe is one of the best places in Thailand to learn to dive, with five professional dive centres located on the island, offering a full range of PADI courses. There are over twenty-five dive sites surrounding the island, and almost all of them are protected by the Tarutao National Marine Park. As a result, the waters off Koh Lipe are filled with some of the most fascinating sea life, in the region's pristine waters. Whether you're diving or snorkelling off Koh Lipe, you can expect to soar the oceans with manta rays, whale sharks, nurse sharks, octopus and sea turtles plus millions of colourful fish, coral and other curious creatures. The dive and snorkelling packages on the island offer excellent value, with the added incentive that they will take you to visit some of the most serene spots around Koh Lipe.
