At the centre of Pattaya Beach, behind the Family restaurant, is the Seaside Resort. Behind the restaurant are 13 simple detached bungalows, each with balcony, double bed, box mosquito net, fan, and bathroom with western toilet. The bungalows are set in two rows amongst attractive gardens, and are priced to suit budget travellers. Snorkelling and fishing trips can be arranged here. As the name implies, the Family restaurant is run by a local family of friendly sea gypsies who pride themselves on the excellent fish BBQ they serve every evening.
