The Lipe Beach resort is a new operation located on Sunrise Beach, next to the school and medical centre. There are around 15 bamboo bungalows, each with fan, double bed, mosquito net, bathroom, and balcony. All the bungalows have views of the sea and of Koh Tarutao and Koh Kra - a small uninhabited island, 400 metres offshore, that has one of the best reefs around Koh Lipe.
The restaurant is a wooden and open with great sea views. Delicious Thai food is served, and there is also an adjoining tattoo shop.
