Gypsy bungalows are owned and run by a local sea gypsy family. This small and cosy resort is located on the centre of Sunrise Beach, between the Varin Village and the Sunrise Forra dive resort. There are around 30 bungalows, each with fan, terrace, double bed, fan, mosquito net, and outdoor bathroom. The bungalows are small but clean, and ideally suited to the budget conscious traveller and tourists diving next door at the Forra dive resort. Snorkelling and fishing trips can be arranged here.

At the front of the resort, on a stretch of white sand beach, is the Gypsy restaurant serving a good selection of Thai and western dishes, and salads. The coffee here is also said to be very good. The islands of Koh Tarutao, KOh Talak, Koh Kra, and Koh Usen can be seen from the Gypsy restaurant.
