At the northern end of Sunrise Beach is the Andaman Resort. What makes this resort so popular is the beach; the TOT (Tourism Authority of Thailand) declared the beach here, the third best in Thailand. And it’s easy to see why; there is a large and wonderful stretch of white sand with spectacular views of the jungles of Koh Adang and several other islands, including Koh Tarutao The beach here has lots of trees for shade, and is perfect for swimming. Around 400 metres from the shore there is Koh Kra - a small uninhabited island that has one of the best reefs around Koh Lipe.
